LOUISVILLE, Ky., Sept. 6, 2007 – Honeywell (NYSE: HON) today announced the
release of its 2007 Video Systems and 2007-2008 Access Systems product catalogs.
The two catalogs include Honeywell’s newest security offerings, and provide
dealers with one-stop access to information on the company’s full line of video
and access products.
The Video Systems Product Catalog includes products such as Honeywell’s new
Intelligent Video Analytics software, which reviews vast amounts of raw video in
real time using rules-based object detection, classification and tracking to
distinguish suspicious activity. Also featured are Honeywell’s new True
Day/Night cameras: the HD4D vandal dome camera and the HCD92534 IR bullet
camera. Dealers and end users can also sign up to receive additional information
on Honeywell’s new IP Network solutions as it becomes available.
Highlights of the new Access Systems Product Catalog include WIN-PAK® SE
access control software with integration to VISTA intrusion panels and Rapid
Eye™ digital video recorders. The NetAXS™ hybrid Web-based access control panel
is also featured, as well as the latest in smart card technologies such as
Honeywell’s FIPS 201 compliant OmniAssure™ readers that bring innovative
security to businesses of all sizes.
“Each industry and business has unique security requirements that standard,
off-the-shelf products cannot meet,” said John Lorenty, president, Honeywell
Systems Group. “The wide range of products in these catalogs can be customized
to any location, facility or business. Our ability to work with individual
customers to meet those unique needs is a major reason why so many of them have
selected Honeywell as their partner of choice.”
Both catalogs will be available at ISC East and ASIS International 2007. For
